You use this handbook to set up your dissolution testing system. This is what

What You Need
Your dissolution testing system comprises the following components:
See your packing check list for your system options. You use the system with
your dissolution vessels and bath.
What You Install
• Agilent 8453 UV-visible spectroscopy system
• Dissolution sampling system
The chapters that follow describe the installation procedures for dissolution
sampling systems.
Spectrophotometer Agilent 8453 UV-visible spectrophotometer.
Sample Introduction System 8-port valve and single channel pump, multicell transport with
multichannel pump, or multicell transport with eight-port valve and
two single-channel pumps.
Personal Computer PC with Microsoft Windows operating system and printer.
Application Software Agilent ChemStation general purpose software and dissolution
testing software for UV-visible spectroscopy.
