Installing a Multicell-transport-based Sampling System
Connecting Multicell System Tubing
You use the multicell transport in the Agilent 8453 spectrophotometer with
the peristaltic pump 8VS. The direction of flow for your samples is from the
dissolution vessels via the flow cells in the multicell transport holder through
the pump tubing returning to the bath.
The tubing in the multicell tubing kit have colored heat-shrunk sheaths. You
identify the different tubing by the colored heat-shrunk sheaths and the
length. There are eight pieces of each different tubing. Match the colors of the
fittings so that each tubing line has the same colors on all the fittings, see
Table 8 on page 24.
