3 Using the Peristaltic Pumps 1VS and 8VS
Maintaining Your Pump
1 Remove the tubing cassettes, see “Removing the Tubing Cassette” on
page 75.
2 See Figure 31 for the position of the screw holes to aid in locating the
screws. Using a 3 mm hex key, unscrew the three screws holding the
pressure-wheel assembly to the front of the pump.
3 Pull the pressure-wheel assembly from the front mounting.
Replacing the Pressure-wheel Assembly
1 Place the pressure-wheel assembly on the front mounting. You may need to
use a flat-tip screwdriver to turn the drive shaft of the pressure-wheel
assembly to align it with the flange in the front of the power housing.
2 Screw the three screws through the pressure-wheel assembly to the front of
the pump, using a 3 mm hex key.
