• There is only one QSet profile per QSet instance and only one QSet instance per port or link aggregate
(LAG). However, a LAG may show multiple QSet instances, one for each port that is a member of the
LAG.
• When a port leaves a LAG, the default QSP 1 profile is associated with the QSet instance for that port.
In other words, if the QSet instance for a port was associated with QSP 4 when the port joined the link
aggregate, the port is associated with QSP 1 when it leaves the LAG.
The qos qset command is used to configure WRED and statistics parameters for QSP 1, 2, 3, or 4. The qos
qsi command is used to select the QSP for a specific QSet instance (QSI). For example, the following
commands select WRP 2, disable statistics collection, and specify QSP2 as the profile for the QSet
instance associated with port 1/2:
-> qos qset qsp-id 2 wrp-id 2
-> qos qset qsp-id 2 wrp-id 2 wred-admin enable
-> qos qset qsp-id 2 stats-admin disable
-> qos qsi port 1/2 qsp-id 2
To verify the QSet profile configuration for the switch, use the show qos qset command. For example:
