9. Clean all metal parts in the assembly by immersing them in a cleaning
solvent (Isopropanol or reagent-grade acetone are both acceptable sol-
vents). The solvent must not attack aluminum or stainless steel. Allow
all parts to dry thoroughly before reassembling them.
10. Install (1) Flow Restrictor (P/N 100-1219, comes with o-ring) in each (3)
Filterblock section and hand-tighten them.
11. Install (1) new #006 o-ring (P/N 300-6244) in the groove on the flat
face of the Center and Back Filterblock sections.
12. Replace/reassemble parts in the Filterblock Core:
a. Install (1) new #115 o-ring (P/N 300-6242) in the Filterblock Core.
b. Install (1) new Filter Cartridge (P/N 300-6217). Install (1) new #010
o-ring (P/N 300-2375) in the Seal Washer and secure the Filter Car-
tridge on the Filterblock Core with the Seal Washer and M6 nut.
Lightly tighten the nut.
Replace the Filterblock Core in the Back Filterblock, aligning the
screw holes as you push it into the Back Filterblock section. Re-
place and tighten the (3) M6 X 20 screws.
13. With the membrane side of the Back Filterblock section facing up,
install a new Sintered Disk (P/N 300-6257).
Carefully install (1) new Type-5 Membrane Filter (P/N 300-8594, comes
with o-ring). Be extremely careful not to damage the membrane.
Place the o-ring side of the Membrane over the o-ring groove and
gently press the o-ring into the groove in one location. Continue with
the section across from the first location and gently press the o-ring
into the groove. Continue until the o-ring is completely seated in its
groove and the Membrane is tightly stretched.
14. With the Center Filterblock section facing up, install a new Sintered
Disk (P/N 300-6257) in it.
Carefully install (1) new High-Flow Membrane Filter (P/N 300-5862,
comes with o-ring) using the same procedure as the Type-5 Membrane
Filter.
15. In each Filterblock section, ensure that the o-rings are still in place and
stack the three sections together while aligning the screw holes. Install
the (6) M6 X 50 screws and tighten them in a cross-pattern.
