3.6. Lubrication and Maintenance Operations
Clean contact surface for lter gasket. Screw on the lter •
and tighten properly with hand.
Use ller neck to ll the engine – medium amount is 7 l •
(7.4 qt).
Fill to upper gauge line of the dipstick. Amount of oil be-•
tween gauge marks on the dipstick is 1,5 l (1.6 qt).
Drain oil into catch vessels.
Spent oil and lter are ecological waste –
hand over for disposal.
Do not tighten excessively the lter, its
thread and gasket may get damaged.
Note:
Refer to Engine Operation and Maintenance Manual for the spe-
cial spanner required.
When exchanged, start the engine for 2 - 3 min. Check tight-•
ness of drain plug and lter. Stop the engine and wait for
5 min. until oil ows down to crankcase sump. Then use dip-
stick to conrm oil level.
Exchange oil after 3 months at the latest
even though 250 hours have not been
actually operated. Exchange oil within
interval that occurs as rst.

Use oil as per Section 3.2.1.
