Ignore any warnings about the digital signature and continue the installation. The exclamation point should disappear after installation.

The USB icon should appear in the system tray. If it doesn’t, refer to the Configuring and Using USB with a Virtual Master section on page 25 of the manual. * Allow the panel a few minutes to detect the connection to the PC.

Note that while pinging checks for Master availability, some networks or firewalls block pings, causing connection failures. Disabling this option will still attempt a connection, but it may take longer to recognize a failure. This adjustment might be necessary when the master controller is behind a firewall.
