How to fix AMX NXT-CV10 Touch Panel USB driver with a yellow exclamation point?
    • A
      Alison DudleyJul 31, 2025
If your AMX Touch Panel USB driver shows a yellow exclamation point, it indicates an incorrect installation. Reinstall the driver by following these steps: * Power up the panel without the USB cable connected. * Plug in the USB cable into the panel; a USB icon should appear in the System Tray. * Double-click the icon to see the "AMX USB LAN LINK" device. * If the "Install Driver" dialog doesn't appear automatically, select the "Properties" button and then the "Update Driver" button. * Click Next on the Install Driver dialog to accept the default prompts. * Agree to continue the installation even if the OS notifies you about the missing digital signature. * After installation, the exclamation point should disappear.

What to do if a VNC Server dialog appears when using G4 WebControl with an AMX NXT-CV10 Touch Panel?
    • M
Mrs. Wendy Benton MDAug 15, 2025
When connecting to a target AMX Touch Panel via WebControl, you should see a G4 Authentication dialog asking for the panel's password. If a VNC Server dialog appears instead, it requires the target panel's IP address. You can find this IP Address on the Setup > Protected Setup > System Settings page, within the IP Settings section. Enter the IP Address and click OK. You will then be prompted with the G4 Authentication popup where you must enter the panel’s WebControl password.
