Why AMX G4 device behaves strangely after downloading a panel file?

  If your AMX G4 device is acting strangely after a file or firmware download, it could be due to insufficient space, potentially corrupting the Flash memory. To avoid this: * Do not download large TPD4 files (like demo pages). * First, download a small, blank one-page file to the G4 panel using the Normal Transfer option. * Reboot the device, and then proceed with your regular file or firmware download.

Why does my AMX Touch Panel have a crawling, dashed line on the left border of the graphics?

  If you see a crawling, dashed line on the left border of the graphics on your AMX Touch Panel, this is due to the graphics controller settings in the firmware. To resolve this, update to the latest v2.XX.XX firmware. You can download the KIT file from www.amx.com > Tech Center > Downloadable Files > Firmware Files > Modero panels.

Why does AMX NetLinx Studio only detect one of my connected Masters?

  If NetLinx Studio only detects one of your connected AMX Masters, remember that each Master is given a Device Address of 00000 and only one Master can be assigned to a particular System number. When working with multiple Masters, open separate instances of NetLinx Studio and assign each Master its own unique System value. For example, assign System #1 to an NXC-ME260/64 and System #2 to an NI-4000 using two open sessions of NetLinx Studio.
