This instrument provides “special parameters” that allow you to customize the instrument at
your convenience. Changes to these parameter settings remain effective even after turning off
and on the power.

Direction of test
strip feeding
Switches the direction in which the test strip is
placed on the test strip holder. The test strip
holder must be removed from the instrument
before changing this setting (see steps 1 to 3
in the
“1-4-5. Changing the Direction of the
Test Strip Feeding” on page 1-16).
From left
Date format Changes the date format. This setting is
effective on both the display and printouts.
The default for the date format for external
output is “year-month-day”.

Unit and
qualitative sign
Changes the unit of the results (conventional
or SI) and qualitative sign (+++, +n, or n+).
