3 Authentication Levels and Default Passwords

UPAC has different authentication levels:
•Using the Send Message function, i.e. creating and sending messages can be done by
any user in the system and requires no password.
• User rights is required for the administration of users & groups and the phonebook.
Default user name and password are “user” and “password”.
• Administrator rights is required for the setup, the configuration and administration of
UPAC, simple troubleshooting and changing passwords (except for the sysadmin
password). Default user name and password are “admin” and “changeme”.
• System Administrator rights is used for advanced troubleshooting, gives access to all
administration pages and the permission to change all passwords. Default user name
and password are “sysadmin” and “setmeup”.

With system administrator or administrator rights you will be able to access the complete
UPAC configuration page from the Configuration-, Phonebook- and Users & Groups
buttons on the start page. Links to documentation are also found on the start page.
