1.4 Technical Solution

Besides the possibility to connect to GSM, Paging system, IP- DECT system and via Unite to
WiFi system, the UPAC can be connected to and receive pagings from external equipment.
Note: It is not possible to combine a GSM modem and a DECT system that needs to be
connected via the serial port (for example the DECT system DCT-1800) because the same
serial port (J11) on UPAC is used. A separate GSM connection product is then required.
