5.2 Installation
The control can be installed above or below the water level.
For installation below the water level, observe the following points:
• If the control is installed between 1 m and 3 m below the
water level, a spring loaded SPECK non-return valve must be
installed (a).
• Installation at 3 m to 6 m below the water level should be
avoided. Deeper than 6 m is not permitted.
• Either a spring loaded SPECK non-return valve (article no.
240.9102.063) or an assembly bow to the water level must
be installed in the sewage line (b).
If these construction measures are not take into account for
installation below the water level, a backflow through the valve to
the sewage line can occur during the switching process. This may
