3.5.6 Winter setting
In this manual operating mode, it should be noted that the valve
insert in the valve housing is slightly raised. This relieves stress
on the seal and the compound system is drained, so to speak,
over the winter.
It should be noted that, if the hydraulic level of the top water level
is such that the water can flow to the channel, the pool water
would flow unsupervised into the channel and thus empty the
pool.

3.6 Outputs and inputs
3.6.1 Outputs
All relay outputs are potential-free changeover contacts. Phase L
must be wired to the appropriate common relay contact to switch
230 V. Other (lower) voltages can also be switched depending on
the application case.

3.6.2 Relay output z1-z2/z7-z8
The contact z1-z2 is provided for other devices. If the contact z1-
z2 is closed, the external device acknowledges that the
BADU OmniTronic has reached its position and that the pump can
be turned on.
This contact is a kind of multi-function relay. See the chapter
“Functions” for other functions.
However, a multi-function relay can always only perform one
function. “√” appears in the menu for the selected function.
Contact z1-z2 closes, when one of four positions is reached.
“P” may be selected additionally instead of “√“ for the Filter
position. The “P” setting means that z1-z2 is closed if the pump
is switched on additionally in lowered filter position. This can be
used in connection with a dosing device.
