7 Faults/troubleshooting
7.1 Overview
Two different error messages are displayed on the device itself:
Sensor error wrong distance from the angle sensor
Time error position not reached
The number of error messages is displayed in the “Service” menu
item. A distinction is also made there between the number of
sensor and time errors.
Problem: Leak found in pipe to sewer (inspection glass on valve).
Possible causes
Solution
Impurities in valve (sand) or on
the seal.
Î Backwash in order to
remove any dirt from the
seal.
Î A function run can be
achieved by switching
on/off at the rocker switch.
Î Send the actuator and
valve lid to the
manufacturer.
Problem: The backwash/rinse cycle cannot be started via the
right-hand key on the display.
Possible causes
Solution
Key not pressed long enough.
Î Press the right-hand key
on the display for more
than 3 seconds.
Problem: Loud snapping noise in the drive housing.
Solution
Î
Find the cause and repair the fault.
Î
Replace the motor sprocket.
Problem: Valve turns when turned on.
Possible causes
Solution
No error.
Î
Test cycle is started, exact
starting position is
reached.
