MANUFACTURERS' ALIGNMENT PROCEDURES USING THE MODEL 415
10.0 INTRODUCTION
In this section the i-f and chroma alignment
procedures of two television receivers are re-
produced (Courtesy of Philco-Ford Corpora-
tion and The Magnavox Company). Opposite
these procedures are shown the same align-
ment sequences using the Model 415. By com-
paring the Model 415 method to specific pro-
cedures the user can acquire additional famil-
iarity with the use of the Model 415 in actual
practice. The drawings of test set-ups, chassis
layouts and waveforms are those of the man-
ufacturers. The Model 415 interconnection and
set-up information
is shown in Figure 5.2 and

10.l ALIGNMENT OF MAGNAVOX MODEL T933
The first television chassis to be reviewed is
the Magnavox Model T933. The adapters and
response curves recommended by the manu-
facturer are shown below. In the alignment
procedure using the Model 415. reference to
only the response curves is required. The
manufacturer's figure numbers are retained.
