TheQ5Xsensorcanbetaughtnonidealreferencesurfaces,suchassurfacesoutsideofthesensorrangeorverydarksur
faces. Teaching non-ideal reference surfaces may enable applications other than transparent or clear object detection, but
bestresultsfortransparentorclearobjectdetectionrequireastablereferencesurface.
