Air Bags
The granite block, drum and carriage are lifted by airbags for
a vibration-free exposure.
Four airbags are mounted under the corners of the granite block.
Before exposure, the air bags are pumped up by switching air
via an EM valve, a regulator and a manometer labeled "AIR BAGS".
The air is distributed via 6 mm pressure tubes.
During loading and unloading of films, the granite block is down.
Air Bags diagnostics
The EM Valve and the air bags can be checked by the diagnostics
commands:
LTL > 16 SFDREL (air bags up)
LTL > 16 RFDREL (air bags down)
EM Valve VE can also be operated manually by pressing the button.
There is a pressure regulator between the switched air output of this
valve and the manometer.
Air Bags Manometer Reading
The pressure in the air bags should be about 2,4 bar.
