Carriage
Error : Rule index not found
During initialisation the carriage can not find the index point of the linear scale.
Is something preventing the carriage of finding the index.
Check for obstacles.
Is the carriage still moving ?
Check airpressure, airpressure tubes-valves-bearings, circuit
braker(FU) installed on top of the 24V powersupply(VI)
When he is searching for the index, is he moving in one straight direction?
If the carriage is moving from left to right, CHECK the led on the
comut board. Perform : x y winfor ; winding 0<x<9 ; force 0 < y <
155
carriage should position to each winding. If not replace
COMMUT
If the carriage passes the index or does not move.
Clean the scale head with air pressure. Or replace Linear scale or
Maccon
Check Solid state(SS)(fuse) - Solid state(ET)
Check linear motor and cable connections.
Error :
Error too large stop on ……….. should be ………….
Carriage can not go to the position it wants to when moving at expose speed.
Overflow stop on …………….. should be ………….
Carriage can not go to the position it wants to when moving at high speed
e.g. after finding the index; when making skips while exposing
Is something preventing the carriage.
Check for obstacles.
Is the errors message always around the same position ?
If yes. It can be the linear scale.
Does the overload led on the comut board switches on during skipping or
ramping. Perform : x y winfor ; winding 0<x<9 ; force 0 < y < 155
carriage should position to each winding. If not replace Comut
If led switches on, try replacing the comut board.
Is the measuring head touching the scale ?
Readjust the measuring head
Is the carriage still good moving?
Check airpressure, airpressure tubes-valves-bearing tubes-bearings
No vibrations on carriage during exposure.
Vibrations probably because too much pressure on air bearings.
Power supply PK400 still giving 40V ?
