Downloading ltl software into maccon

(Always make a copy of all your parameters before upgrading the sofware)

(1) Connect the console line (LINE1) of the maccon to COM1 of the PC

(2) Startup a terminal emulator on the PC (VT100)

(3) Reset the maccon and hit the space key on "Looking for BIST soft ..."

(4) Disconnect the terminal emulation program

(5) From a ‘DOS’ prompt : Start the download program (DL.EXE 26Kb 18-JAN-96)

C:\>DL “M6V12S82.b3” B=9600 H (you have to stand on the correct directory)

The H stands for HALT, so that after the download is completed

the program is not executed immediately, but you get a prompt

to run or to save the ltl file(the filename is just a example):

Press ^Z to abort download.

(6) Restart the terminal emulation program and hit <Enter>,<P>,<E>.
