The winding offset(par20) has to be searched again when you install or replace the
linear motor. Check if the space between linear motor and carriage magnets is still
correct.

Checking the linear motor.
Before the linear motor can be checked, the air bearings should be working, the
hardware should be initialized and the 40V DC should be on:

WINFOR
Definition:
force =TOS; winding = TOS-1
Syntax: x y WINFOR
Limits:
Force: 0 < y < 255 !!!!Use max 155
Winding : 0 < x < 9
Example:
LTL> 0 155 WINFOR
Switches current in winding 0.
Manually slide the carriage over the windings:
Result: you should feel the force from winding 0 on the magnets.
This recurs at intervals of 1 inch.
LTL> 0 0 WINFOR
To cancel the force in winding 0 .
Repeat this for each winding.
The linear motor can be checked for short circuits and open circuits.
To do so, proceed as follows:
1. Power down.
2. Disconnect the linear motor winding connector.
3. Remove the ten straps on the linear motor.
4. Measure the resistance of each winding to check that they are closed (continuity
test).
5. Measure the resistance between the windings to verify that no shortcircuits have
occurred.
6. Resolder the ten straps.
7. Reconnect the linear motor winding connector.
8. Power up.
Base Carriage
11. Connect the air pressure as follows: Top 4bar; front 4 bar and bottom 2 bar
(maximum: top 4.5 bar; front 4 bar and bottom 2.5 bar.)
Main input pressure for airbearings around 5 bar.
When its too less carriage can not move. When its too much carriage will start
vibrating.
