5. Check if the program Tera Term Pro is already installed:
Open Windows explorer and check if the following directory exists
C:\Program Files\TTERMPRO
If not yet installed, first install it:
+ Put the PowerRip CD-Rom in the CD-rom drive
+ Double-click on the file \PowerRIPx.xx\TERATERM\SETUP.EXE
+ Now the Tera Term Pro installer starts. Do not modify any of the default
settings and click successively the fields Continue, Continue, Continue and
OK
6. Check if the correct Service Pack is installed:
Open Windows explorer, in the toolbar click on the Help menu, click About
and check the Service Pack, it should read: Windows NT: Version 4.0
(Build xxxx: Service Pack 6)
Windows 2000: Version 5.0 (Build xxxx: Service Pack 1)
If a lower version of Service Pack is installed then first install the above
mentioned one:
+ Put the PowerRip CD-Rom in the CD-rom drive
+ Windows NT: double-click on the file \PowerRIPx.xx\SPACKS\WNT\SP6I386.EXE
+ Windows 2000: double-click on the file \PowerRIPx.xx\SPACKS\W2000\SP1NET~1.EXE
7. Install the POWERRIP software:
+ Put the PowerRip CD-Rom in the CD-rom drive
+ Double-click on the file \PowerRIPx.xx\POWERRIP.xxx\setup.exe
+ Now the
POWERRIP installer starts.
