Logging events on the POWERRIP
The PowerRip is connected to the plotter by means of three cables:
Special high speed data cable connected between the PHIFAC board in the PowerRip and the
SSIPRO3 board in the plotter
RS232 serial cable connected to serial port COM1 of the PowerRip and to the MACCON
board in the plotter
RS232 serial cable connected to serial port COM2 of the PowerRip and to the SSIPRO3
board in the plotter
In order to log events that happen on theses 2 serial lines one can open a log file in the
TeraTerm VT-terminal emulation program.
Start logging (you will be prompted to specify a log file name)
