Taking up the film and positioning the drum.
During this phase the feeder plate moves towards the film bridge. A vacuum is put on
the suction caps. The home position of the film bridge is fixed. In that situation the
suctioncaps touches the first film slightly. With the vacuum placed on the suction caps
the film is pulled towards the film bridge. If there is no film, no vacuum can be build
and an empty film cassette is generated.
At the same time the drum rotates slowly towards the load position. This position can
be changed via a parameter(P41). The direction of the drum rotation depends on the
start position of the drum. The software detects which side is the shortest .
