2.6 Aircraft Wiring
The installation of the device(s) depends on the device, the type of aircraft and
its equipment and therefore only general information can be given in this
section.
Required as minimum wiring:
• Supply voltage.
• Antenna RF.
• GPS antenna or external GPS source (for full performance of the device).
Notice: Obey "Installation Requirements" page 37 and recommended cable types see
"Electrical Interface" page 45.
Electrical Bonding and Grounding
• Make sure that the device is correctly connected to aircraft ground (structure).
• Make sure that the electrical bonding area is protected to prevent corrosion
