CHAPTER 9 User Defined Reagents
Overview
Introduction
The user may define up to 100 chemistries on the UniCel DxC 600/800 using an
endpoint or rate, and calibrated or non-calibrated methodology. A set of parameters
must be defined which fully characterizes an analyte. Once defined, the parameters
are stored in memory according to the test name designated in System Setup.
Chemistries can then be configured on the test selection menu for programming along
with the Beckman Coulter-defined chemistries. When configured, quality control,
reference ranges, and special calculations may be used with these configured
chemistries. Overrange Detection and Correction (ORDAC) is not available.
