Common Error Messages and Corrective Actions
Table 13.10 below shows the most common system error messages in numerical sequence. It also shows the text that appears on the
pop-up screen that appears when the error occurs, the accompanying text that will be inserted into the Event Log, a description of the
probable cause for the error and the recommended corrective action to take to resolve the problem.

Intermittent message may be caused by:
• a recent loss of power
• system reboot or
• reagent door being open too long
No operator action is necessary.
Consistent messages may indicate issues
with:
• the Thermister
• the Thermister cable
• the Power Control Board
• the Peltier Assembly
