VOR COURSE DEPICTION †
When the Nav Source on the AeroNav is VLOC and the AeroNav
is tuned to a VOR station, the AeroNav will display the inbound
and outbound radials as dialed in by the OBS/Course knob on the
external indicator, if that external device is capable of transmitting
course. The radial lines will be displayed once the VOR station is
decoded and will be 50nm long.
The line will be green for the inbound course/radial to the VOR
when the aircraft position is on the near side of the perpendicular
course (“To” geometry) and the outbound course/radial will be
white.
The line will be green for the outbound course/radial to the VOR
when the aircraft position is on the far side of the perpendicular
course (“From” geometry) and the inbound course/radial will be
white.
