What to do if Altimeter and Airspeed fail on BENDIXKing XVUE TOUCH?
    • M
Mr. Juan Carroll MDAug 16, 2025
If the BENDIXKing Avionics Display shows 'Altimeter, Airspeed Failures (Red X)', verify the pitot static connections and check for any blockages, water, or debris in the pitot static system. Also, try cycling the power on both the KG 71EXP and KSD 100EXP units. If the issue continues, check the KG 71EXP current draw and wiring, and consider replacing the KG 71EXP.

      Edward GeorgeAug 19, 2025
If the BENDIXKing Avionics Display shows an Attitude Fail (Red X), wait for the 'Attitude Aligning' message to complete. If you are on the ground, do not move the aircraft during alignment. If in flight, maintain straight and level flight. If the issue persists, try cycling the power on the KG 71EXP and KSD 100EXP. If the problem continues, check the KG 71EXP current draw and wiring, and consider replacing the KG 71EXP.

      Courtney GrantAug 22, 2025
If the BENDIXKing Avionics Display shows a Heading Fail (Red X), first, allow the 'Attitude Aligning' message to complete. Ensure the aircraft remains stationary on the ground, or maintain straight and level flight if airborne, during alignment. If the issue persists, try cycling power on the KG 71EXP and KSD 100EXP. If there are still problems, complete the Magnetometer Alignment Procedure. Check the wiring from KMG 7010/ MD32 to KG 71EXP and check KMG 7010/MD32 current draw. Consider replacing KMG 7010/MD32. Finally, check the KG 71EXP current draw and wiring, and consider replacing the KG 71EXP.
