6.1.1 Transport/setup
The owner/user or the personnel tasked with transporting must ensure that
the machine is transported in accordance with its designated use, safely
and with consideration for the dangers involved.
Before starting transportation
n all necessary information about first aid and rescue possibilities (emer‐
gency doctor, fire department, etc.) must be known,
n the personnel tasked with transporting the machine must be made
familiar with the working environment (e.g. obstacles in the working
area),
n the personnel tasked with transporting the machine must make sure that
no-one is in the danger area.
The danger area is the area in which people could be struck by movements
of the machine and its equipment in the course of operation, or by parts
swinging out or falling off.
6.2 Packing
Disposing of packing material
All packing material that is used must be disposed of correctly and in an
environmentally friendly manner after the machine has been assembled.
