Screw connections must be attached correctly and tightened to the pre‐
scribed torque.
Do not make any unapproved modifications to the settings of the
machine, with the exception of the procedures described in the machine
documentation. This could result in dangerous, inadvertent movements.
3.14 Safe working on hydraulic systems
Leaks on the hydraulic system can influence the safe function of the
machine and represent a serious danger to the operating personnel.
Hydraulic fluid can catch fire if it is exposed to significant heat.
Switch off the hydraulic system and secure it to prevent it from being
switched back on during work inside the machine or in the range of
movement of hydraulically controlled components.
Regularly check the hydraulic system for leaks, in particular on pipes,
pumps, cylinders, screw connections, components that transport and
store pressurized fluid and pressure vessels, in accordance with the
manufacturer's specifications.
Immediately report leaks and seal them immediately as far as possible.
Hydraulic fluid is harmful to health. Never swallow or inhale hydraulic
fluid, or allow it to penetrate unprotected skin.
