6.3 Transport inspection
On delivery of the machine to the place of use, check the scope of delivery
with reference to the shipping papers.
n Scope of delivery
– Completeness of the scope of delivery, comparison of the scope of
delivery against the items in the purchase order
– Incorrect quantities
n Status of the transport components
– Transport damage
Damage, incorrect quantities or incorrect deliveries can only be notified
directly when the delivery is accepted at the owner/user premises. No com‐
plaints submitted at a later point in time will be accepted.
n Compare the goods receipt directly with the shipping papers.
n Damage, incorrect quantities or incorrect deliveries must be reported
immediately to Bergmann Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG.
Check subassemblies and components for externally visible signs of
damage and defects. Notify the shift supervisor immediately if you notice
any changes. If necessary, interrupt the work immediately and secure the
working area.
