n Bear in mind that capacitors require a certain length of time to discharge
before you work on the electrical system.
n Only use suitable, adequately insulated and demagnetized tools, or
tools that are protected against electrostatic discharge, when working on
the electrical system.
n Always use suitable measuring instruments/test equipment for any work
on the electrical system.
n Take care not to damage cable identification markings and designations
when disconnecting connections, since they will be required again
during assembly.
n Only fit parts with the same specification when renewing electrical com‐
ponents.
n The electrical system is subject to the specifications of the corre‐
sponding standard (→ EN 60204-1 Safety of machinery - Electrical
equipment of machines - Part 1: General requirements ).
3.16 Safe working when driving and tipping
General safety regulations when driving and tipping:

Only start and operate the machine from the operator's seat.

Do not short-circuit the drive motor.
►
Make sure that the operational safety of the machine is assured prior to
each time it is used.
