n Instruction of the personnel regarding behavior in case of a fire and the
use of small fire extinguishers (first response for extinguishing a fire).
n During work, the operator must continuously observe the machine, and
pay attention to signs of fire or smoldering.
n All operating personnel must ensure that no highly flammable materials
are placed against hot parts of the machine.
3.26 Environmental protection
The following instructions must always be followed in order to protect the
environment:
n Always comply with the relevant environmental protection regulations of
the country in question.
n Collect any oils/hydraulic fluids that are released during assembly and
disassembly.
n Oils/hydraulic fluids as well as all auxiliary materials and service prod‐
ucts must be disposed of according to the local regulations in a profi‐
cient and environmentally friendly manner.
n After the machine or individual components is/are definitively taken out
of operation, ensure that the components are disposed of in an environ‐
mentally friendly manner.
n Return metal and plastic components for recycling.
