Risk of accident due to using the machine on an uphill gradient, downhill
gradient or in a sloping position!
Using the machine on an uphill gradient or downhill gradient (e.g. hill‐
sides, ditches, mountains) or in a sloping position poses a risk of an acci‐
dent due to the machine toppling over.
n Determine the maximum permissible uphill gradient, downhill gradient
and sloping position by evaluating the ground and weather conditions,
and by taking into account the loading condition.
n At most, operate the machine on very slight uphill/downhill gradients
and in very slight sloping position.
