8.3.2.4 Set_Permanent_Parameter (SET_PP)
With this call, a parameter value for the specified AS-i slave is configured on the
AS-i/PROFIBUS Gateway. The value is stored permanently in the EEPROM of the
Gateway.
The configured parameter is not transferred immediately by the AS-i/PROFIBUS
Gateway to the AS-i slave. The configured parameter value is only transferred
when the AS-i slave is activated after turning on the power supply on the AS-i/
PROFIBUS Gateway.
8.3.2.5 Get_Permanent_Parameter (GET_PP)
With this call, a slave-specific parameter value stored on the EEPROM of the AS-i/
PROFIBUS Gateway is read.
8.3.2.6 Write Parameter (WRITE_P)
The AS-i slave parameter value transferred with the command is passed on to the
addressed AS-i slave.
The parameter is stored on the AS-i/PROFIBUS Gateway only temporarily and is
not entered as a configured parameter in the EEPROM!
The AS-i slave transfers its current parameter value in the response (parameter
echo). This can deviate from the value that has just been written according to the
