Anti-Ice Panel
OFF – wing ice protection system is not powered.
Note: To enter the OFF position, switch must be pulled during rotation from
AUTO to OFF.
AUTO – in flight, wing ice protection system is powered on and off automatically
by the ice protection system.
ON – in flight, wing ice protection system is powered on and operates without
input from automatic ice detection system (with TAT less than 10º C).
OFF – the engine anti–ice valve is commanded closed.
AUTO – in flight, the engine anti–ice valve is opened or closed automatically by
the ice detection system.
ON – the engine anti-ice valve is commanded open.
Note: Approach idle is selected by the EEC if:
• ENGINE ANTI-ICE selector is in AUTO and the anti-ice valve is
commanded open, or
• ENGINE ANTI-ICE selector is ON
