Unknown position or failed electric spoilers are indicated by a blanked spoiler
display for the affected spoiler.
Unknown spoiler condition is indicated by a blanked spoiler display for the
affected spoiler.
Green – the associated hydraulic system is functioning normally.
Amber – the associated hydraulic system has failed.
Green – the associated electrical system is functioning normally.
Amber – the associated electrical system has failed.
When flight controls revert to secondary or direct modes the FLT CTRL MODE
indication displays an amber SECONDARY or DIRECT to indicate which mode
is in use.
Green – the associated ACE is functioning normally.
Amber – the associated ACE has failed.
Flight Control Surfaces Controls
NORM – the respective flight control surfaces are unlocked.
LOCK (illuminated amber) –
• the respective flight control surfaces are electronically locked
• EICAS advisory message FLT CONTROL LOCKED is displayed
