HUD Airspeed Indications
Indicates current ADRS airspeed.
The box around the current airspeed indication flashes when airspeed is below
minimum maneuvering speed.
Displays current groundspeed or Mach (if Mach is 0.40 or greater).
When a transition occurs between the display of groundspeed and Mach number,
the new display is highlighted with a box for 10 seconds.
Bottom of the bar indicates the maximum maneuvering speed. This airspeed
provides 1.3 g maneuver capability to high speed buffet (or an alternative
approved maneuver capability as preset by maintenance). May be displayed when
operating at high altitude at relatively high gross weights.
Note: 1.3 g maneuver capability occurs at 40º of bank in level flight.
