Troubleshooting
Resetting the Printer
If the screen “freezes” (i.e., does not accept any keystrokes), reset the printer.
1. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
The system performs the initialization process and starts the printer.
Note: If the printer still does not initialize after holding the power button:
2. Use the On/Off switch to turn the power off and back on.
IMPORTANT! Any data in the Editor at the time of the reset will be lost.
Labels are being cut incorrectly or
too deeply when using the XY
cutter.
Blade height, cut depth or cut
accuracy may need adjusting.
Verify the blade height. See XY

Current ribbon color: Black
For this multi-color job, load this
ribbon last.
To continue, load another required
ribbon, then press any key.
Currently installed ribbon is a
continuous color monochrome
black ribbon.
If multi-color print job is selected,
the label quality is better when
black is printed on top of the other
colors.
Load required ribbon color.
