Menu CONTROL TOLL : Set the Control Tolerances
Menu CONTROL REPEAT : Set the number of job’s courses; the system will
automatically calculate the length necessary to
perform the best learning of the article.
If the length of learn exceeds the maximum
allowed length, the SMART KTF 2000 terminal
will signal a “MEMORY OVERFLOW”. In this
case you will have to reduce the number of
courses (REPEAT).
Operating Procedure
1) – From CONTROL environment perform the “LEARN” function – Length of
Absorbed Yarn (LFA).
2) – At the end of the Learn phase the system switches to CONTROL mode and,
for every FEED/PRX/R proximity pulse it will compare the previously
“Learnt” value with the “currently detected” value.
1) – If the difference between the “Learnt” LFA value and the “detected” LFA
value exceeds the tolerance, the machine will be stopped.
Application
Machine hardware setting
- PRX – Proximity detecting the passage of
“thread guide carriage”. You must install
a magnet allowing to count up a pulse for
each carriage stroke.
- ZPX Not necessary
- RESET EXT – Reset of alarm condition without
operating on terminal
