The “Sample ID” error message indicates that a sample identiﬁ cation which is

currently in use has been entered again. Press “SELECT” to return to the sample ID

screen to edit or change the sample identiﬁ cation. Press “HOME” to overwrite the

current Identiﬁ cation. The previous method information and identiﬁ cation is erased,

and the new information and identiﬁ cation are stored.

Press BACK to overwrite

The “Door Open” message indicates that the instrument door is open. Ensure that the

instrument door is properly closed.

The “Furnace Open” message indicates that the furnace door is not installed or

improperly installed. The “Preheat Error” indicates that the furnace has failed to pre-

heat to the speciﬁ ed temperature. Check the furnace door to ensure that it is properly

installed.
