3.6.- STARTING UP THE DEVICE
When the CVM-A has been powered up, the display will show the following screen , Figure 18,
while the device’s software is loading.

If there has been an error in the start-up process, the device displays an error message. The
possible error messages are shown in Table 9.

Error Description / Action
SD ERROR
Indicates that the microSD is not inserted or has not been detected.
Action
Disconnect the device’s power supply and check if the microSD is correctly inserted.
FILE NOT FOUND
Indicates that the graphic resource les were not found.
Action
Disconnect the device’s power supply and check if the graphic resource les have
been copied onto the microSD: resources_CVM_A1xxx.pbr and resources_
CVM_A1xxx_cp.pbr (see : “8.- SOFTWARE UPDATE” ).
If the les are there and the error persists, format the microSD and update the de-
vice by following the steps indicated in section “8�- SOFTWARE UPDATE”�
FILE LOAD FAILED
Indicates that the graphic resource les are corrupted.
Action
Disconnect the device’s power supply, format the microSD and update the unit by
following the steps indicated in section “8.- SOFTWARE UPDATE”
Note: These errors only affect graphic resources, the device is still working correctly and you
can access your data via communications.
