Enabling the NetFlow Feature
You must globally enable NetFlow before you can configure any flows.
Procedure
PurposeCommand or Action
Enters global configuration mode.configure terminal
Example:
switch# configure terminal
switch(config)#

Enables the NetFlow feature.feature netflow

switch(config)# feature netflow

Creating a Flow Record
Before You Begin
Make sure that you are in the correct VDC. To change the VDC, use the switchto vdc command.
Procedure

Creates a flow record and enters flow record
configuration mode.
flow recordname
Example:
switch(config)# flow record IPv4Flow
Step 2
Describes this flow record.

Specifies the match key.
matchtype
Example:
switch(config-flow-record)# match
