Diagnostic History
Thehandheldprogrammercanbeusedtoaccessthecontroller’sdiagnostichistoryle.Connecttheprogrammer,
press the MORE INFOkey,thenwhilecontinuingtoholdtheMORE INFOkey,presstheDIAGNOSTICS key. The
programmerwillreadoutallthefaultsthatthecontrollerhasexperiencedsincethelasttimethediagnostichistoryle
wascleared.Thefaultsmaybeintermittentfaults,faultscausedbyloosewiresorfaultscausedbyoperatorerrors.
Faults such as HPD or over-temperature may be caused by operator habits or by overloading.
Afteraproblemhasbeendiagnosedandcorrected,clearingthediagnostichistoryleisadvisable.Thisallowsthe
controllertoaccumulateanewleoffaults.Bycheckingthenewdiagnostichistoryleatalaterdate,youcanreadily
determinewhethertheproblemwasindeedcompletelyxed.
Toclearthediagnostichistoryle,gototheSpecialProgramMenubypressingandholdingtheMORE INFOkey,and
then pressing the PROGRAM key. Scroll through the menu until Clear Diagnostic Historyisthetoplineinthedisplay,
and then press MORE INFO again. The programmer will prompt you to acknowledge or cancel.
