3. While removing the screws
from the Gas Pistons at both
ends of the Lid Assembly,
make sure your free hand is
holding the Lid Assembly to
prevent it dropping down.
Once free lift the Lid to the
90deg position.
4. Tighten the locking screws in
the Hinge Bracket at the left
end of the Lid Assembly. The
Lid may need to be moved
slightly to allow the screws
access.
5. Tighten the locking screws in
the Hinge Bracket at the right
end of the Lid Assembly. The
Lid Assembly will now stay in
the 90
o
position while work is
carried out on the underside
of the Lid Assembly or the
Lower Scanner area.
