Menus and toolbars
Vector’s menus are displayed in the menu bar at the top of the window.
Tool bars are available in each menu or you can open floating tool bars.
Floating tool bars can be docked under the menu bar.
Menu Features and toolbars
File • Save and open show files
•Print shows
View • Manipulate how grid formats fit into the display space.
This affects how many channels and spot parameters are
visible.
• Set live views to jump according to fixture selection (spots
and channels) and parameter selection (spots).
• Open the Grid Properties dialog box.
•Show/hide the View toolbar.
Tool s • Open the Patch Manager.
• Open the System Settings dialog box.
• View real-time status.
• Customize the default display.
Format • Set parameter value formats (percent, decimal, or hexa-
decimal) in the live spot and channel displays.
• Display time, library, effect, or profile details in parameter
cells.
•Show/hide the Format toolbar.
LiveMode • Determine which fixtures are displayed in the live channel
and spot displays; All fixtures, fixtures active on stage,
active in the editor, etc.
•Show/hide the LiveMode toolbar.
Window • Arrange panes and add tabs on the general window
• Toggle soft key views
•Lock displays
•Show/hide the Display Setup toolbar.
• Save and load display layouts
