3. Getting Started

3.1. Description

The TigoMaster 2TH IO-Link Wireless Master can be used within PROFINET network. TigoMaster 2TH is

parameterized via PROFINET network, with the device storing its parameters.

It may operate up to 16 IO-Link sensors/actuators via wireless connectivity.

All IO-Link Wireless ports can be configured with the supplied TigoEngine software tool (hereafter

referred to as TigoEngine). This way, users can set the parameters of all IO-Link Wireless

sensors/actuators connected to the device. Alternatively, IO-Link Wireless sensors/actuators can be

parameterized with an integrated web server (supplied by Hilscher). An OPC UA server is also integrated,

providing identification, statuses, and configuration capabilities.
