Default Configuration Parameters
The AlterPath PM’s default configuration is as follows:
• User is admin.
• admin user’s password is pm8.
• All outlets are un-named.
• All outlets are unassigned to user.
• All outlets are turned on.
• All outlets are unlocked.
Initial Configuration Using the Command
Prompt
To configure the AlterPath PM, you must have a work station connected to the
console (In) port on the AlterPath PM and be logged in as the admin user. See
“Making a Direct Connection for Console Access” on page 33 for instructions
on connecting to the console. If needed, refer to Chapter 4. “Command Line
Interface” on page 49 for a description of the command line interface and
reference information on each of the commands described in the following
procedures.
