CONTINUOUS GLUCOSE MONITORING SYSTEM
During initial calibration the Seven System will default to the BG reading of 120 mg/dL. 5.
To enter the BG reading taken from your BG meter, press the Up 6.
or Down Arrows
until you arrive at the correct BG reading. Press the OK button to enter the BG reading.

For initial calibration, repeat steps 1-7 for the second fingerstick BG reading.8.
A glucose reading should appear on the Receiver in about 15 minutes.9.
For calibration updates (Section 4.5):10.
e BG Entry Screen will display a continuous glucose reading from the past 15
•
minutes as your starting point.
If no readings are available then 120 mg/dL will be your starting point.

NOTE
Only BG • readings between 40-400 mg/dL can be used for calibration. If 1 or more of
your readings entered was outside of this range, the Seven System will not calibrate.
Always make sure the Antenna Symbol (Y) is displayed in the bottom right hand
•
corner of the Trend Screens.
You should always use the same glucose meter to calibrate your Seven System that
•
you routinely use to measure your blood glucose. Do not switch your BG meter in
the middle of Sensor wear.
Press the • OK button to confirm the BG reading
entered is correct.
If the BG reading displayed is incorrect press the
•
C Button and enter in the correct BG reading for
calibration.
If you do not press any button, the Receiver will “time
•
out” and no BG reading information will be entered.
